On warm summer days there’s nothing better than an iced tea to quench your thirst and to regain some energies. Let’s find out how to make it!
First of all, let’s choose the tea. If it’s better to choose the loose leaves over the classic teabags, there’s an embarrassment of riches when it’s about the type of tea. The green teas are quite popular. From our selection, we recommend Honolugu Mango, a fresh green tea with a sweet hint of mango, which recalls the image of the Hawaiian shores. Segreto di El Dorado is also really good: the sweet notes of the papaya mitigate the orange peels, which make this green tea really refreshing.

Contrary to expectations, you have to use hot water to prepare a good iced tea. The high temperature not only gives a better performance, but it also activates a process of sterilisation on the tealeaves. Once it gets cold, you can put it in the refrigerator and let it to infuse for some hours.
It would be ideal to prepare the iced tea in the morning in order to drink it when you come from work. Add two or three ice cubes and flavour it as you like: with some sugar or fruits or some mint leaves.
