This fine green tea powder is obtained from Gyokuro soft leaves, who are briefly subjected to steam, air-dried and then, after removal of all the stems, crushed becoming powder. The preparation of Matcha should be as follows: pour into a bowl a heaping teaspoon of tea powder, add boiled water, let it cool down and froth up with a bamboo whisk. The result is a beverage with a soft and delicate flavor.
